Job summary

Greenhous Wolverhampton DAF is seeking a Commercial Parts Person to identify, source and supply vehicle parts for internal workshops and external customers, delivering high-quality service with accuracy.

Join a well-established team offering training and a clear path to a long-term career in the commercial vehicle sector. Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–5:30 pm, 45 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Qualifications

• Excellent administration skills.
• Customer service experience in motor vehicle sector or similar.

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

Responsibilities

• Working within a busy telesales office.
• Processing and upselling commercial vehicle customer parts requirements.
• Dealing with technical requests and using product identification aids.
• Building professional relationships with customers.
• Supporting external parts sales team.
• Taking roles in campaigns and targeted sales activity.
• Interacting with customers visiting the premises.
• Satisfying internal parts requirements and liaising with workshop team.
• Gaining market information.
• Liaising with key suppliers.

Job description

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Commercial Parts Person at our DAF Wolverhampton site.

This is a fantastic chance to become part of a well-established and respected team, where you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our parts department.

As a Commercial Parts Person, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and supplying vehicle parts to both internal workshop teams and external customers. You will deliver excellent customer service, ensure accurate stock management, and contribute to the overall success of the dealership. This role offers a dynamic working environment, opportunities for training and development, and the chance to build a long-term career within the commercial vehicle industry.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 5.30 pm, i.e. 45 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid).

Salary: Dependent on experience, will be discussed at interview stage

Ideally, we are looking for:

• Possess excellent administration skills.
• Have knowledge gained from customer service within the motor vehicle sector or similar.
• Be used to working to performance targets.
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
