Job summary

Auto Skills UK in Rochdale is seeking an experienced Commercial Panel Beater / Technician to repair commercial vehicles after accidents, delivering high-quality workmanship within a professional bodyshop. The role offers a basic salary of £40,000 - £50,000+ DOE with the potential to earn £55,000 OTE, and a stable Monday to Friday 42.5-hour week in a permanent, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ / IMI / SVQ / ATA).
• Experience as Commercial Panel Beater / Panel Technician or Vehicle Body Repair Technician.
• Experience repairing commercial vehicles in a professional Bodyshop or accident repair environment.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out structural and cosmetic repairs to damaged commercial vehicles.
• Removing, repairing and refitting damaged body panels and components.
• Completing panel replacement, alignment and adjustment work.
• Assessing vehicle damage and selecting appropriate repair methods.
• Using specialist commercial vehicle body repair tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Completing allocated repairs efficiently while maintaining excellent workmanship.
• Working closely with other technicians to maintain an efficient repair process.
• Following relevant quality, safety and workshop procedures.
