An established industry player is seeking a skilled Commercial Painter to join their team. This role involves painting and maintaining a fleet of tower cranes and various external equipment, ensuring high standards of quality and attention to detail. Location: Shipdham, Thetford, IP25 7SD, Norfolk.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4.00pm, with an unpaid lunch break of half an hour. Overtime available when required.
Salary: To be discussed on application and dependant on experience.
Responsibilities – Commercial Painter:
· Painting of our fleet of tower cranes and external works which include but are not limited to, pumps, containers, vehicles, crane ancillary equipment.
Qualifications/Experience – Commercial Painter:
· ICORR Certification in Bronze and Silver Paint or NACE equivalent.
· Experience in commercial painting.
· Experience with conventional and Airless Spray Equipment.
· The ability to use single pack/multi component materials.
· The ability to read and follow a technical data sheet.
· The ability to straighten and repair body work would be useful but not essential.
Skills – Commercial Painter:
· The ability to communicate clearly and efficiently.
· The ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
· Must have the ability to work well under pressure.
· A ‘can-do’ attitude with a flexible approach to working hours.
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· Exceptional time keeping and the ability to prioritise workload.
Due to our rural location, it is essential that the successful candidate has a full driving licence and their own transport.
