Job summary

Orbital Recruitment is seeking experienced Commercial Painters to work on long-term projects across Derby and Nottingham. The role involves interior and exterior painting on commercial sites, with a CIS rate of £21–£23 per hour depending on experience.

Requirements include a valid Blue CSCS Card (essential), IPAF ticket desirable, minimum 3 years of commercial painting, willingness to undergo security clearance, and own van, tools and full PPE.

Qualifications

• Proven surface preparation skills (sanding, filling, priming).

Location: Various sites across Derby and Nottingham

Rate: £21 - £23 per hour (CIS) - dependent on experience

Duration: Long Term Contract

Hours: TBC

Own van & tools required

We are currently recruiting for experienced Commercial Painters to work on a various commercial business sites across Derby and Nottingham. This is a long-term project offering consistent, full-time hours on a secure site.

Role Responsibilities:

• Interior and exterior commercial painting


• Surface preparation including sanding, filling, and priming


• Working to site specifications


• Delivering high-quality finishes


• Following strict site health & safety procedures

Requirements:
