Job summary

DUAL Corporate Risks Limited invites applications for a Commercial Property & Casualty Underwriter role. You will own a broker panel, assess risks, and deliver underwriting solutions to support profitable growth and broker engagement.

You will work with underwriting and distribution colleagues to provide responsive service and develop trading relationships across regional markets, strengthening DUAL’s presence and technical underwriting capability.

Qualifications

• Experience underwriting Commercial Property & Casualty or similar insurance environment.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain broker/intermediary relationships to grow business.
• Strong risk assessment, decision making and negotiation skills.
• Clear communication to build credibility with brokers, customers and colleagues.
• Analytical approach to reviewing information and identifying underwriting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a panel of brokers, identifying opportunities to grow new and existing business.
• Assess risks, negotiate terms and apply underwriting authority to deliver solutions.
• Underwrite renewal business in line with strategy to support portfolio retention and profitability.
• Collaborate with underwriting and distribution teams to serve brokers and customers.
