DUAL, part of Howden, is seeking an experienced Commercial Property & Casualty Underwriter to own a broker panel across the region. You will assess risk, make underwriting decisions, and deliver solutions that drive profitable growth.

Working closely with underwriting and distribution colleagues, you will build relationships, develop trading with brokers, and contribute to a portfolio that reflects the group's strategy and market presence in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience underwriting Commercial Property & Casualty or related insurance.
• Experience building and maintaining broker/intermediary relationships.
• Ability to assess risk, make underwriting decisions and negotiate outcomes.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with broker panels and regional markets.

Responsabilités

• Manage and develop a broker panel, assess risks, negotiate terms, and apply underwriting authority.
• Underwrite renewal business in line with underwriting strategy to support portfolio retention.
• Collaborate with underwriting and distribution to provide effective service for brokers and customers.
• Maintain accurate underwriting records and policy information.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, file reviews, system testing, and market development.
