Job summary

Aspect Resources Limited seeks a Commercial Officer - DV for Corsham with a hybrid pattern (3 days on site). The role covers sourcing through to contract and supplier management, requiring a DV security clearance and proven experience in a high-pressure government procurement environment.

You will negotiate with suppliers, drive savings and value for money, manage multiple priorities, and influence stakeholders to deliver complex contracts on time and to specification.

Job Title: Commercial Officer - DV
Location: Corsham/Hybrid (3 days/week on site)
Contract Duration: 24 Months
Daily Rate: GBP580/day (Umbrella Maximum)
IR35 Status: Inside

Security Clearance: DV

• In-depth experience in a commercial / procurement environment, covering sourcing through to contract and supplier management.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with excellent communication abilities.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating with suppliers to achieve savings and value for money.

Essential

• Sole UK National
• In-depth experience in a commercial / procurement environment, covering sourcing through to contract and supplier management.
• Proven category management experience, with the ability to engage confidently with the market and implement category strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with excellent communication abilities.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating with suppliers to achieve savings and value for money.
• Confident decision-maker, able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Experience working on large complex contracts
• Hold Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Level 4 qualification or equivalent relevant experience.

Desirable

• Experience providing commercial expertise to support project teams in achieving approvals and delivering complex procurements.
• Experience leading and managing teams within a commercial or procurement context.
• Public sector experience would be helpful
• Defence sector experience
• Networks and Communications background (not a network expert but has understanding)
