Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Officer (or Senior Commercial Officer, depending on experience) to join a world leading defence engineering organisation supplying mission-critical technology that helps protect lives across the globe.

This position will focus on the Americas market, managing key customer accounts and overseeing all commercial and contractual activities related to assigned programmes. It’s an ideal role for a detail oriented, commercially minded professional who thrives in a structured, high integrity environment and enjoys building strong, long term customer relationships.

Key objectives
  • Prepare and submit bids and proposals
  • Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, from negotiation and award to delivery and completion
  • Oversee invoicing and support debt management processes
  • Maintain and develop strong internal and external relationships, acting as a key point of contact
The ideal candidate profile will have
  • Proven experience in a commercial, contracts, or account management role within defence, aerospace, or complex engineering sectors
  • A solid understanding of contract management, pricing, and negotiation principles
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
