Job summary

SSE plc is recruiting a Commercial Analyst (Modelling) to build long-term contract cashflow models and provide commercial analysis across projects. You will work with cross-functional teams to support growth and ensure rigour in proposals and investment papers.

Based in Reading, Perth, Glasgow or Manchester, this permanent, full-time role offers a salary of £44,000 to £65,900 plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your family and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and interpret financial models for long-term contracts.
• Strong understanding of commercial and financial analysis.
• Experience with investment appraisal and deal structuring.

Responsibilities

• Weave intricate financial models and assumptions registers forming the bedrock of propositions.
• Customise commercial and financial analysis per project.
• Mould commercial appraisal models and analyze risk/opportunity.
• Collaborate with senior modellers on customer and stakeholder proposals.
• Provide insights on market dynamics and commercial aspects for decision-making.
