We're seeking a customer-centric and commercially astute Commercial Marketing Manager to join the Customer team at Just Eat UK.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing customer-centric plans that drive trading performance through growing net customer value (via acquisition, retention and frequency). You will work a range of cross-functional teams to develop a deep understanding of our target customers, identify commercial opportunities arising from customer behaviour trends, and translate these into actionable strategies and trading initiatives to influence behaviours and commercial outcomes.

This role demands a blend of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen - and above all, a strong customer-centric mindset.

These are some of the key components to the position:
  • Customer Base Management: Develop a deep understanding of our customer segments, identify behaviour trends and derive risks and opportunities to commercial value, and develop cross-functional initiatives / interventions in response.
  • Trading Performance Optimization: Analyse customer insights, trading data and market trends to identify opportunities and design initiatives to maximise trading performance across different supply, marketing channels and customer need states.
  • Planning and Forecasting: Help to develop customer-centric marketing plans, including target setting and forecasting against trade marketing initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with Data and Analytics, Commercial, Finance, and Trading teams to drive customer and business results.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify potential opportunities and threats.
What will you bring to the team?
  • Proven experience in customer-focused consulting, customer strategy / planning, or commercial management roles.
  • Demonstrable experience in analyzing customer data, identifying key insights, and translating them into actionable strategies.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving tangible results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Experience in marketing or cross-functional roles.
