The role of the Commercial Manager Timber Frame will involve:

Commercial Manager position dealing with a range of timber frame structures

Negotiating contracts, performing risk reviews, ensuring financial aspects and impact of the contract are clear to all parties

Lead budget development with the Estimating & Sales Team

• Manage variations and any changes to the commercial scope of projects
• Responding to delays and any issues that may arise during construction phase
• Overseeing final accounts and client payments
• Provide accurate commercial reporting to the senior leadership team
• Develop and improve commercial processes for timber frame delivery

The ideal applicant will be Commercial Manager Timber Frame with:

Must experience as a Commercial Manager within the UK construction industry

Would potentially consider experience / Senior Quantity Surveyors within the timber frame / housing / developer industries

Strong negotiation and contract management skills

Ideally degree level educated in a Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying

Sound working knowledge of JCT & NEC contracts

IT literate (Microsoft Office)

Strong negotiation, time management, and organisation skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
