Job description

Commercial Manager - Property Services

An opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Regional Commercial Manager to take strategic responsibility for commercial operations across a high-performing region within a national property services contractor.

This is a senior leadership role ideal for a commercially driven, people-focused individual with a strong background in contract management, profitability oversight, and regional growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all commercial aspects of contract delivery are managed effectively across the region
  • Oversee cash flow, invoicing, applications for payment, and risk mitigation
  • Deliver robust reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Team Leadership & Development
  • Support recruitment, induction, development, and performance reviews
  • Liaise with operations and regional managers to improve contract performance
Client Development & Bidding Support
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships
  • Represent the region in pre-submission reviews and contract negotiations
Operational Integration & Delivery Support
  • Ensure all core services (e.g., refurbishment, roofing, energy, passive fire) are commercially viable
  • Maintain alignment with national and regional strategies
  • Contribute to the development of forward work plans and business targets
What We Are Looking For:
  • Proven commercial management experience within construction, property services, or a similar industry
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, CVRs, final accounts, and commercial risk
  • Ability to lead teams, manage performance, and improve business processes
  • Excellent stakeholder and client relationship skills
  • Construction-related academic qualification (Degree, HNC/HND)
  • CMI Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent) preferred
  • Full UK driving license
