Commercial Manager - Personal Lines (Motor Insurance)

£45k - £55k (dependent on experience)

Do you have a growing understanding of Car Insurance dynamics and the energy to challenge how it works? Are you commercially minded and able to spot gaps in customer propositions? We're looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Retail Personal Lines team, with a focus on driving growth and profitability in the Car insurance market.

About the Role

As a Commercial Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering our strategy to become the UK's leading personal lines insurer. You'll be responsible for managing the performance of one of our flagship motor brands, using insight and innovation to drive commercial outcomes.

You'll work across a wide range of stakeholders to identify opportunities, optimise propositions, and lead initiatives that improve customer and financial performance.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Take ownership of P&L performance and delivering against commercial targets
  • Developing and executing proposition strategies to support profitable growth
  • Using data and insight to identify performance trends and inform trading decisions
  • Working with virtual teams and collaborating across functions to deliver change
  • Monitoring market dynamics and adapting strategies to stay competitive

What you'll get for this role
  • Salary of Circa £45,000 - £55,000 (depending on location, skills, experience and qualifications).
  • Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
