Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Barrow/NW

Type: Permanent

Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join our team on a new project based on site in Barrow. You will manage the project commercial team, advise senior management on risks and opportunities, and support contract reviews. This is a permanent position with NG Bailey, with the project lasting approximately 2 years, with potential for further work.

We are also considering candidates at Senior Quantity Surveyor level. Candidates must be able to obtain security clearance; therefore, only British nationals will be considered.

Key responsibilities include:

• Promoting safety culture
• Managing project risk and opportunity schedules
• Leading mitigation and enhancement initiatives
• Providing leadership to the commercial team
• Building relationships with clients, suppliers, and vendors
• Negotiating contract terms and final accounts
• Ensuring accurate forecasting and cost management
• Supporting business planning and record keeping
• Monitoring project commercial performance
• Preparing commercial plans and managing subcontractor agreements
