Commercial Manager – Logistics, Birmingham, c£50k + Car Allowance + Bonus
My client is an established, successful and reputable logistics business delivering integrated transport, warehousing, customs and groupage services. They operate an extensive fleet of owned trucks and trailers and managing more than 1.5 million square feet of warehousing. There has been consistent investment, strong operational performance, and long-standing relationships with major customers across FMCG, retail and beyond.
This is a newly created key commercial role, responsible for driving new business and revenue growth across the Group's full range of services — transport, warehousing, customs clearance and groupage — for customers across Birmingham and the wider Midlands. Unlike many sales roles where you're restricted to a single service, you'll be able to offer customers a genuine end-to-end logistics solution covering transport, warehousing, customs and distribution.
With a clear growth strategy and continued expansion across the UK mainland, the Group is now investing significantly in its commercial capability in the Midlands, including its growing warehousing footprint.
The successful candidate will take ownership of building a strong, diversified pipeline across the Group's service lines, developing lasting customer partnerships and contributing to the continued growth of the wider business.
This is a rare opportunity to take on a commercially significant, multi-service role within a growing logistics group based in Birmingham. For the right individual, it offers the chance to build a high-quality, diversified customer portfolio and develop into a broader commercial role across a fully integrated 3PL business — with strong scope to shape the Group's growing warehousing offer along the way.
