The success of this Super specialist Landscaping Contractor means that they need a Quantity Surveyor to take control of all construction costs, from the award of a project to its handover. You will have responsibility for the financial management and contractual commitments of all projects, and work closely with colleagues to ensure that they are completed on budget, on time and to specification. This role is central to the organisation and is pivotal to both its ongoing success and the creation of the company s award-winning Landscapes. This is the ideal position for a Landscaping QS, Estimator or Senior Contracts Manager looking to take the step into senior management!
The Job:
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will use your professional and proactive approach to maintain an overview of all of the company s Landscaping projects. You will ensure the financial integrity of all projects from Estimating and Tender through Procurement and Construction to completion and, importantly the agreement of the financial account. Together with the senior management team you will determine the companies purchasing and sub-contract policies and be central to the negotiation of terms. You will be responsible for the contractual commitments inherent in each project and aware of the Scope of Works and Specifications.
