Reporting to: Senior Commercial Manager

The Opportunity
Are you a commercially minded individual with a passion for building strong customer relationships and delivering sustainable growth? Pilgrim's Europe is looking for a dynamic Commercial Manager to support the Senior Commercial Manager in the further development of our Foodservice strategy and play a pivotal role in driving our commercial success.

You will take ownership for supporting the management of our day-2-day customer and key site relationships to support our growth plans with current live customers + building our new business pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Senior Commercial Manager with ensuring excellence at all touch points with key customers
  • Achieving this excellence through building/managing successful cross functional relationships throughout Pilgrim's and the Customer's business.
  • Love data - spotting trends and unlocking category opportunities
  • Responsible for customer cost price models and securing all required cost price changes within the agreed timescales.
  • Delivery of own Pilgrim's Europe sales, volume & profitability targets (budget & PIP initiatives) and supporting the broader objectives of Commercial department and Foodservice BU

Solid working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and internal systems (training provided)

Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to different sites as required - essential
  • Degree qualification preferred but not essential
  • Experience in managing customer P&L, building JBPs, and working cross-functionally in a commercial environment
  • experience in food or beverage industry
  • excellent communication skills and entrepreneurial mindset
  • team-player that is able to work independently as well
