We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Manager, Flights to join our highly successful commercial team in the EMEA region, based in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow office. The role is suitable for a self-motivated and ambitious individual with a successful track record in strategic sales, account/partner management in a complex environment.

You will be responsible for commercial activities for our core flights business across several EMEA markets. You will work closely with travel industry partners such as Airlines and Online Travel Agencies to develop business growth strategies and execute them to deliver value to Travelers and Partners, as well as to grow our flights business in the defined territories.

Core Responsibilities
  • Accountable for market performance. Monitor relevant performance metrics and manage your time efficiently to focus on revenue-growing activities.
  • Develop and execute market strategies and partner plans to deliver incremental revenue.
  • Identify and nurture key partnership opportunities across EMEA markets. Acquire new partners and grow existing ones to help partners succeed on Skyscanner’s marketplace.
  • Articulate and demonstrate Skyscanner's value to partners, negotiate commercial agreements to grow our flights business.
  • Oversee the implementation of partners onto our website by managing the end-to-end process and working closely with internal teams for seamless integration. Some technical understanding is required.
  • Apply analytical skills to identify portfolio optimization opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue all opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling other Skyscanner services, including advertising, data solutions, and partner marketing.

Skills and Experience Required
  • Proven success in consultative or solution-selling environments, with strong account/partner management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with C-level executives and navigate complex decision-making processes in large organizations like Airlines.
  • Highly analytical with experience using data tools such as Tableau and proficiency in Excel.
  • Effective communicator, able to influence stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Relevant experience in Travel, especially working with Airlines, OTAs, or GDS systems.
  • Understanding of an international, technology-driven business environment.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable in a competitive market, resilient, and strategic in building long-term partnerships.
  • Our hybrid work policy includes 2 days in the office weekly.
