Job summary

SGN is seeking a commercially astute Commercial Manager to oversee strategic supplier and contractor relationships across our portfolio. The role focuses on robust commercial governance, contract management, and driving supplier performance to support safe, efficient service delivery.

You will build strong stakeholder relationships, influence at all levels, and provide commercial leadership across operational contracts in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial management and contract management across operational/infrastructure contracts.
• Strong understanding of commercial governance and risk management.
• Ability to analyse financial information and provide clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic supplier and contractor relationships to support operational delivery.
• Ensure effective commercial governance and contract management across allocated contracts.
• Identify, manage and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
• Support the resolution of commercial issues, disputes and change events.
• Drive supplier performance, value for money and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Legal and Health & Safety teams to deliver positive outcomes.
