Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the RFP response and competitive bid processes for projects in EMEA, analyzing commercial and legal aspects of Customer RFPs to develop a competitive submission to continue to grow the execution pipeline.
  • Lead the Customer and sub-contractor contract negotiation phase for equipment, services, and EPC contracts by collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Develop key requirements for RFPs to sub-contractors and evaluate the bid results.
  • Responsible for bid analysis and modeling to support the strategic procurement process.
  • Work with supply chain to capture competitive intelligence and generate insights on supply chain and BESS landscape.
  • Interact with external parties including Customers, vendors, and potential suppliers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and support the implementation of such improvements.
  • Ensure the organization's internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained.
  • Provide contract support to the Project team during contract execution.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in commercial contract negotiation and RFP management for equipment supply in the energy sector.
  • Proficiency in aggregating, understanding, and responding to requirements during the RFP process.
  • Experience partnering with stakeholders to optimize responses and decision-making.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Enthusiasm for working with Customers and suppliers.
  • Strong intrapreneurial mindset for process analysis, problem solving, and strategy development.
  • Ability to make critical decisions under limited or conflicting data and time constraints.
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work intensively during negotiations.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in executive presentations.
  • Proven teamwork and leadership skills in virtual teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex activities simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail while maintaining a strategic overview.
  • Enthusiasm for working with Customers and suppliers.
  • Desire to learn and grow within the role and organization.
