Job summary

NG Bailey Group Limited is seeking a Commercial Manager in a hybrid role based in Basingstoke. The role involves guiding contract management from tender to completion and identifying commercial risks and opportunities to optimise framework performance.

You will lead the Commercial Team, oversee NEC3/4 and bespoke contracts across multiple projects, and provide accurate cash flow forecasts while managing invoicing and debt. A strong focus on cost control and stakeholder collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in managing the commercial performance of projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC3/4 contract forms.
• Proven leadership of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage NEC3/4 and bespoke contracts across multiple projects.
• Lead and develop the Commercial Team to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Provide cash flow forecasts and monitor financial performance.
• Oversee invoicing, payments, and debt management.
• Prepare BoQ, measurements, and valuations for applications and final accounts.
• Maintain subcontractor accounts and minimize variation costs.
• Support pre-tender reviews and client progress meetings.
