Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

We’re looking for a commercially savvy and results-driven Commercial Manager to join a leading blue-chip food business on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this high-profile role, you’ll take ownership of major grocery retail accounts, driving strategic relationships and delivering commercial success across nationally recognised brands. The role..

As Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing key national grocery retail accounts, driving profitable growth and ensuring strong customer relationships. You’ll lead annual negotiations, promotional planning, and forecasting, while working cross-functionally with marketing, category, and supply chain teams to deliver best-in-class execution. This is a hands-on role that requires strategic thinking, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to influence at all levels. You'll be stepping into a role that plays a critical part in shaping the commercial strategy for some of the UK’s most well-known food brands.

  • Strong analytical mindset – confident interpreting data and leveraging insights for commercial advantage, including scenario planning and budget alignment.
  • P&L expertise – experienced in analysing performance and making decisive course corrections to drive results.
  • Resilient and solutions-focused – thrives under pressure and remains focused in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
  • Skilled negotiator – able to navigate complex discussions and achieve win-win outcomes with major retail partners.
  • Grocery experience preferred – ideally with exposure to both branded and own-label products, and always putting the customer and category first.
