Job summary

Cambridge & Counties Bank is seeking a qualified professional to support the Asset Finance (AF) and Classic, Vintage & Sports Cars (CV&S) sales teams in submitting mid-large ticket credit submissions for facilities over £500k. The role includes managing the existing AF and CV&S customer portfolio, including balloon refinance, annual reviews, novation and BSU duties.

You will operate as a conduit between the AF Sales and Credit teams to secure smooth, timely processing of decisions, while

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Asset Finance products, customer types, assets, risk and mitigants.
• Experience writing credit submissions and liaising with customers/brokers on risk.
• Good working knowledge of the UK Asset Finance market and asset depreciation basics.
• Comprehensive awareness of Conduct Risk and Treating Customers Fairly.
• Experience in a Specialist Car Finance environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support AF & CV&S sales in submitting mid-large ticket credit submissions (>£500k).
• Manage the existing customer portfolio for Asset Finance and CV&S (balloon refinance, annual reviews, novation, BSU duties).
• Act as conduit between Asset Finance Sales and Credit teams to ensure timely decisions.
• Engage with customers/brokers on credit risk applications and regulatory requirements.
• Utilise Microsoft Office, Vienna, VAS and Brego in day-to-day processing.

Job description

We are looking for someone to support the Asset Finance (AF) & Classic, Vintage & Sports Cars (CV&S) sales teams in the submission of Mid-Large ticket credit submissions- these are applications for facilities more than £500k total proposed exposure.

You would manage the existing customer portfolio of customers for both Asset Finance and CV&S, which includes all Balloon refinance, annual reviews, Novation and any BSU duties.

You would work as a conduit between the Asset Finance Sales and Credit teams to ensure the smooth and timely processing of decisions.

About you

For this role you will need the following skills and experience:

• Deep knowledge of Asset Finance, products, customer types, asset types, risk and mitigants
• Demonstrable experience in writing credit submissions
• Good working knowledge of the UK Asset Finance Market
• Broad experience of asset types
• Broad experience of asset values and depreciation curves
• Excellent knowledge of credit bureaus and typical information pertinent with an application
• Compliance and regulatory knowledge
• Knowledge of CRAs
• Experience of liaising with customers/brokers re credit risk applications and HNWI finance specialisms
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Vienna, VAS, Brego
• Knowledge of Conduct Risk and Treating Customers Fairly requirements
• Knowledge and experience of working in a Specialist Car Finance environment desirable
