About

Interim Commercial Manager West Midlands

Trevett Services is partnering with an established main contractor to source an Interim Commercial Manager for a 3-6 month contract (possibly longer).

Location: West Midlands with occasional travel to sites

Salary: £400 - £450 per day outside IR35

Note: Due to the secure locations of work, this role requires security clearance BPSS minimum.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Commercial Manager will be responsible for full commercial oversight of small to medium-sized construction projects, typically valued up to £5m, across their MoD contract portfolio.

Working closely with the Senior Management team and Stakeholders, the Commercial Manager will oversee a team including a Senior Quantity Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor, and a Design Manager to ensure successful project delivery.

Projects involve construction, reinforced steel frames, and M&E installations on secure sites.

About You

• You will hold a Degree in Commercial Management / Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.
• Have previously held a Senior QS or Commercial Manager position.
• Experience with Construction, Reinforced Steel Frames, and M&E installations contracts.
• Experience managing small to medium-sized commercial teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
