Commercial Manager

Kier Construction Eastern and Midlands are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Eastern South Construction team based in Essex, with projects spanning Hertfordshire, Essex, Bedfordshire, and Suffolk. The core sectors we work in are Health, Education, Defence, Custodial, and Commercial.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a Tier One, Main Contractor that is going from strength to strength. The region is growing, with both large and exciting projects underway and a strong pipeline.

Essex, with projects in Hertfordshire, Essex, Bedfordshire, and Suffolk

What will you be responsible for?

As a Commercial Manager, you'll work within the Senior Management team, leading the Commercial function for the region. You will ensure that all commercial aspects of the projects under your remit are properly managed and controlled, and that the commercial strategy is developed and delivered in accordance with the business requirements.

Your Day To Day Will Include

• Leading the commercial team for the office, managing a large, dynamic team, and setting/reporting on office targets
• Contributing to Preconstruction by setting the commercial, procurement, and win strategies
• Ensuring the successful delivery of projects
• Managing the monthly reporting process in line with commercial procedures
• Ensuring timely cash collection and managing final account negotiations and settlements
