Cavendish Nuclear in Warrington (Birchwood site) is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead end-to-end commercial strategy on national defence programmes. You will work with project teams, clients and suppliers to shape strategy, manage risk and governance across the contract lifecycle.
The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, supporting bids, managing change and delivering value for Cavendish Nuclear and customers.
Lead commercial strategy on nationally significant nuclear defence programmes

As a Commercial Manager, you’ll provide end‑to‑end commercial leadership across contracts and projects within our Nuclear Defence Support programme. Working closely with project teams, clients and suppliers, you’ll shape commercial strategy, manage risk and ensure strong governance throughout the contract lifecycle.
Day-to-day, you’ll balance strategic oversight with hands‑on delivery, supporting bids, managing complex change and driving value for both Cavendish Nuclear and our customers. In doing so, you’ll strengthen your commercial leadership capability while contributing to programmes that matter to national defence and long‑term security.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of 3 days in the office/onsite.
