COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IN TRAVEL ESSENTIAL

Job Description:

In this role, you will help drive sales and growth through strategic planning, smooth operations, and close collaboration with senior leadership.

  • Work closely with the Managing and Sales Directors to implement commercial strategies and support growth initiatives
  • Coordinate and execute promotional campaigns, working across departments and with U.S. counterparts to ensure timely materials and market alignment
  • Monitor pricing and inventory to optimise promotions and report on campaign performance
  • Manage the distribution of pricing and promotional content, including agent configurations in Seaware
  • Produce regular business performance reports and support commercial target setting and tracking
  • Oversee commercial agreements, including preparation, communication, and collaboration with Finance
  • Lead the training and daily management of the Sales and Marketing Support Executive
  • Build and maintain strong trade relationships, support joint promotions and events, and oversee agent incentives

Experience Required:

  • Experienced in the same or similar role within the travel industry is essential
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams
  • Must have experience in developing and implementing commercial strategies in collaboration with senior leadership
  • Proven background in identifying and delivering new revenue opportunities within the travel sector
  • Experience supporting senior leaders on strategic initiatives and managing ad hoc commercial projects
  • Strong track record in planning and executing promotional campaigns, including pricing strategy and analysis
  • Familiarity with coordinating across international offices and ensuring consistency in marketing and pricing communications
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and interpret business performance reports using tools such as Tableau or similar
  • Experience managing commercial agreements, including target setting, reporting, and financial coordination
  • Previous responsibility for training or managing junior team members within a commercial or marketing function
  • Skilled in building and maintaining trade relationships, including handling partner communications and joint promotional activities
  • Hands-on experience with systems such as Seaware or equivalent, and managing online booking portals within the UK or European markets
