Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager with knowledge of civils and cabling activities on telecom infrastructure maintenance contracts to join our Circet UK team!

Responsibilities as Commercial Manager include:
  1. Managing commercial functions across various telecom works.
  2. Collaborating with project delivery teams on work packages and change control.
  3. Liaising with Project/Contracts Managers to gather project information.
  4. Managing work package costs, including forecasting, budgeting, and control.
  5. Preparing commercial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Establishing and maintaining interfaces with key stakeholders.
  7. Controlling costs related to labour, materials, plant, and subcontractors.
  8. Estimating changes and variations using appropriate methods.
  9. Forecasting costs and measuring the cost of completed work packages.
  10. Supporting the implementation of commercial strategies.
  11. Holding meetings with clients and senior management to align cost projections with project timelines.
  12. Working proactively with tender and bid teams to secure new clients and projects.
  13. Developing a supplier engagement strategy for the UK.
Skills & Experience required:
  1. Degree qualification or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience managing complex bids and multiple projects.
  3. Understanding of pricing, cost management, and profitability.
  4. Knowledge of business profit & loss management.
  5. Experience in dispute resolution processes.
  6. Understanding of commercial construction law.
  7. Experience working with NEC, JCT, ICE, or bespoke contracts.
  8. Excellent numerical, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
