We are actively recruiting for a Commercial Manager to join an award-winning steel fabricator with a 75-year history of delivering innovative, sustainable, and unique construction projects.

The Role

• Tender to construction review to establish entitlements on receipt of CI information
• Monthly applications in line with contractual dates
• Monthly payment certificates: receive, review, challenge, agree, and communicate to Accounts
• Final accounts within the time constraints of the Contract
• Monthly CVRs
• Assess and communicate the impact of variations within the time constraints of the Contract
• Contractual Notices within the time constraints of the Contract
• Manage Subcontractors' accounts by issuing payment certificates and payless notices within required time constraints
• Place Sub-contract Purchase Orders to de-risk the business

Requirements

• Experience likely with a main contractor or large sub-contractor
• Good understanding of JCT and NEC contracts
• Full UK Drivers License
