Overview

Our client is a well-established and respected construction subcontractor specialising in commercial fit-out projects across the North West. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Commercial Manager to join their team based in Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercial professional to take on a leadership role within a growing business, managing a small team and playing a key part in project delivery and client relationships.

Ideal candidate
  • Experience working for a construction subcontractor (fit-out or interiors ideally)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership skills and team management experience
  • Proficient in cost reporting and projecting cash flows
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Key responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Quantity Surveyors across multiple live sites
  • Maintain and develop strong client relationships
  • Calculate and manage labour and cost forecasts
  • Monitor and report CVRs to the board
  • Lead on cash flow projections and budgeting
  • Evaluate commercial risks and opportunities across projects
