Job summary

A leading construction company in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their Infrastructure Water team. In this role, you will maintain high contract management standards, manage project governance, and build strong relationships with the supply chain. The ideal candidate will have experience managing large commercial teams and knowledge of NEC3 contracts. This position offers a great opportunity to contribute to significant projects.

We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Infrastructure Water team in Peterborough.

What you'll do:

  • Maintain high contract management standards with client and supply chain using efficient processes.
  • Manage Anglian Water project governance by handling change, risk, and opportunities.
  • Foster positive supply chain relationships through incentivized performance and clear contracts.
  • Report monthly on expenditure, risk, opportunities, and TOTEX performance per project.
  • Support construction teams to meet delivery milestones safely and efficiently.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Experienced managing large commercial teams delivering projects over £50m annually for a Principal Contractor.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial and financial processes and systems, preferably in contracting and construction.
  • Expert in managing NEC3, PSC, and ECC contracts with clients and supply chains, focusing on Option C.
