We are excited to offer a brand-new opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll take ownership of delivering the group's commercial strategy within your business unit, building strong relationships internally and with customers to support safe, high-quality, and profitable services. Acting as the link between operations and finance, you'll play a key part in managing risk and driving performance.
This newly created role will support the growth plans of our recently acquired business, Core Control Solutions. The business provides highly specialised systems integration solutions, offering complete solutions from design and consultation right through to decommissioning at end of life. Their impressive customer list includes Kier, Costain, National Highways and many others.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar commercial or financial role, ideally within a multi-divisional organisation. Strong negotiation skills, a clear understanding of the differences between cashflow and revenue, and practical ideas for improving both are essential. Up-to-date knowledge of contractual law and commercial practice is desirable, though a willingness to learn is equally valued.
