Job Description

We're on the lookout for a driven and enthusiastic foodie with genuine commercial acumen to join this leading fresh food ingredients supplier. This business boasts outstanding relationships with its customers, and your role will be to help them further expand their reach whilst building strong, lasting relationships with their accounts.

When you join this established, growing business, you will:

Based on-site, your varied role will see you become a key member of the commercial team, working closely with the development chefs, where your responsibilities will include:

  1. Cultivating opportunities for growth with existing customers.
  2. Identifying and securing new business aligned with strategic objectives.
  3. Collaborating with the commercial team to shape the annual strategy and budget.
  4. Ensuring the pricing model is competitive and aligned with company goals.
  5. Collaborating with customers to develop mutually beneficial solutions, ensuring products meet margin expectations.
  6. Fostering strong, ongoing communication with customers regarding commercial matters and supply requirements.
  7. Providing volume forecasts and updates to internal teams.
  8. Working closely with NPD teams to ensure the first-class service expectations of customers are met.
  9. Managing customer specifications and development processes, ensuring adherence to BRC standards.
  10. Leading feasibility meetings for new product development and key projects.

You will make a clear impact in this role, where you will be an ambassador for the brand, delivering exceptional customer experiences that align with the company values.
