Qualifications

  • Experienced Commercial Manager preferably with a background in Meat, Fish, Poultry, or FMCG.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing high-impact accounts.
  • Comfortable influencing internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Own the day-to-day commercial management of the Turkey and seasonal categories for M&S.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with M&S commercial and technical teams.
  • Lead cost negotiations, pricing agreements, and commercial forecasting.
  • Manage the delivery of product launches and seasonal packaging changes.
  • Align cross-functional teams to meet customer and business objectives.
  • Provide regular reporting and strategic input into category performance.

About the Role

We're looking for an agile, driven Commercial Manager to take full ownership of the Turkey and seasonal added-value categories for our M&S account. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role that will require regular site presence (particularly in Norfolk) and close collaboration with both internal teams and the customer.

This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a dynamic role where you'll manage a high-profile category, drive commercial strategy, and influence key decisions across a complex supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the day-to-day commercial management of the Turkey and seasonal categories for M&S
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the M&S commercial and technical teams
  • Lead cost negotiations, pricing agreements, and commercial forecasting
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of product launches and seasonal packaging changes
  • Align cross-functional teams (NPD, supply chain, operations) to deliver against customer and business objectives
  • Lead seasonal planning and forecasting to ensure full alignment across the supply base
  • Provide regular reporting, insight, and strategic input into the category and customer performance
About You

You're an experienced Commercial Manager ideally with a background in Meat, Fish, Poultry, or wider FMCG categories. You thrive in a fast-moving environment, enjoy managing high-impact accounts, and have the commercial acumen to drive profitability and growth. Ideally, you'll have experience working with M&S, or other major UK grocery retailers, and be comfortable influencing both internal stakeholders and external partners.
