Job summary

The Oyster Partnership seeks an Interim Commercial Manager to oversee a large housing maintenance and capital works programme. This 3-days-per-week contract provides specialist commercial oversight across revenue and capital budgets, ensuring value for money and contract compliance.

You will advise budget holders, review contractor costs, and collaborate with procurement and finance teams to drive robust budget control.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial management experience within housing, property services or construction.
• Experience reviewing contractor performance, costs and contract compliance.
• Knowledge of capital works and housing revenue account environments desirable.
• Understanding of procurement and contract management principles.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to provide specialist commercial and financial oversight across a large housing maintenance and capital works programme.

This role has been created to provide additional commercial expertise and support contract managers, budget holders and finance teams in ensuring effective contract management and value for money across a significant property portfolio.
