Job description

As a Commercial Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing all financial and commercial aspects of construction projects.

You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while maximizing profitability and mitigating risks for the contractor.

Your primary focus will be to manage negotiation of contracts, cost control, contract administration, procurement, and client relations, managing a team of quantity surveyors to ensure commercial success from inception through to project completion.

Desired Skills and Experience
  1. Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor, or similar role in the construction industry.
  3. In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and financial management, with experience in FIDIC, JCT, or other relevant contract forms.
  4. Strong understanding of cost control, budget management, and financial reporting.
  5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  6. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in managing commercial teams.
