THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst or Commercial Manager to join WiseEnergy's Commercial Team. The role involves managing contracts and compliance with lender requirements, with exposure to revenues, insurance, regulatory compliances, and ESG aspects handled by our specialist team for solar energy assets in the UK and Italy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contract management (renewals, tendering, issuing notices, monitoring obligations, etc.) related to individual solar farm companies (SPVs).
- Ensuring compliance with lender requirements for contracts, regulatory, and insurance activities.
- Overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual client reporting to Portfolio Managers/Investment Director, including:
- Energy sales with off-takers and UK/Italian government incentive schemes (e.g., ROC/FIT).
- Regulatory compliance, including Ofgem & GSE audits.
- Insurance renewals and claims.
- ESG and land management items.
- Assisting with transforming existing Commercial systems and processes, including implementing contract management software and improving efficiency.
- Collaborating with Finance and Technical teams on cross-cutting activities.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

- IT literacy, especially intermediate Excel skills.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in economics, social sciences, law, or related fields.
- At least 4-5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, preferably solar.
- Right to work in the UK.
