Commercial Manager

Bracken Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join a leading contractor with a fantastic reputation based in around Central/South London.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop the commercial team within a well established main contractor with a strong pedigree within the Industry.

Key role requirements:

1. BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or the equivalent is preferable
2. Experience Managing busy Civils/Utilities Frameworks
3. Experience managing large teams of experienced and junior Quantity Surveyors
4. Strong people skills
5. Consolidate individual contract reports into monthly management accounts, working with finance department.
6. Forecast and manage cash flow through submission and agreement of applications and final accounts.
7. Prepare commercial reports including Cost Value Reconciliations and cash flows
8. Establish and manage all post contract commercial and procurement systems and procedures.
9. Develop organisation, training and communications accordingly.
10. Work with senior management to maximise commercial benefit of all contracts and effectively manage contract variations.
11. Establish procedures to meet required standards (internal and external).
12. Identify the existence of all variations to the works
