Commercial Manager (Power Generation)

£55,000 - £65,000 Basic + Training + Technical Progression + Enhanced Pension + Great Package

Location: Stockport

Are you a Commercial Manager looking to work for a leading company within the renewables and power generation sector? In this role, you will be responsible for providing commercial support primarily to the sales team, with secondary responsibilities to the projects and maintenance teams, ensuring company objectives are achieved. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global OEM specializing in power generation systems and associated equipment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the CEO
  • Support the Sales and Proposals teams on all inquiries, focusing on successful outcomes
  • Review and present contractual risks to the Associate Commercial Director, CEO, and Commercial Committee before entering into new contracts
  • Ensure all contract documents are accurately prepared, authorized, distributed, and compliant with legal legislation and company policies
  • Assist the accounts team in resolving invoicing issues promptly
  • Experience with NEC, MF1, Fidic, IChemE, and JCT contracts
  • Knowledge of civil or structural engineering, construction management, business or contract management, and quantity surveying
