Westlakes Recruit is currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager to be engaged on a permanent basis, based in Lincoln.

What you'll be doing

As a Commercial Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for overseeing and implementing the commercial activities for the Core Highways Maintenance Contract for the client.
• Ensure that projects are completed within budget and in line with client procedures.
• Strive to optimise the profitability of the company.
• Manage the Service Area budgets in conjunction with Construction Managers, understanding fluctuations in margins against budgets, and agree changes and solutions with the Service Area teams and Commercial Manager prior to implementation.
• Manage and undertake personal development reviews of the surveying team/resources, including training.
• Ensure procurement of sub-contractors aligns with BB Group procedures and that packages cover the scope of works.
• Administer, value, and pay for sub-contract works in accordance with sub-contract terms and conditions.
