Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for your next career step?

We are recruiting for a Commercial Manager to join our Expanded Piling team on Sizewell C.

Location: Leiston, Suffolk

Role responsibilities:

  • Form an integral part of the multidisciplinary sub-teams responsible for project delivery and client service.
  • Support the interim applications for payment and agreements.
  • Manage, administer, and settle subcontractors' accounts, including those delegated to your team.
  • Prepare and manage claims.
  • Manage staff flexibly to provide effective commercial services for the business.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior staff inside and outside of the function on their responsibilities.
  • Negotiate with client's representatives, sub-contractors, and other consultants to achieve project results while maintaining good relationships.
  • Consider contractual implications of planned actions.
  • Advise on and manage commercial risks within the project(s).
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly contract review reports, communicating key risks, opportunities, and changes transparently and promptly.
  • Support the preparation and issuance of weekly Business Plan Review (BPR) information.
  • Identify changes and implement the change control process and agreements promptly.
  • Ensure proper execution of contract documents before project start.
  • Implement appropriate risk management measures.
  • Keep your manager fully informed of any issues or risks that arise or could impact the project or business.

What are we looking for?
