Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd in Glasgow seeks an experienced Commercial Manager to lead commercial strategies across complex, large-scale projects and bids, acting as a trusted advisor to project teams and external stakeholders.

The candidate will deliver high-value contracts, manage risks, guide negotiations, and ensure governance throughout the project lifecycle, with NEC3 knowledge and a relevant commercial qualification (Law degree or QS accreditation).

The Role

As a Commercial Manager, you will provide expert commercial management across relevant contracts, ensuring best practice is embedded throughout project lifecycles. Your responsibilities will include developing and driving commercial strategies, managing risks, and supporting bid and contract negotiations. You will act as a key advisor to project teams, fostering positive external relationships and ensuring compliance with commercial governance.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

• Proven experience in delivering on complex commercial contracts and bids, with a strong track record in large-scale project environments
• Extensive knowledge of commercial management methodologies and best practices, including NEC3 contracts
• Demonstrable ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders, including clients and internal teams
• Commercial qualification such as a Law degree, Quantity Surveyor accreditation, or equivalent experience
• Significant people management expertise and consultancy skills in commercial environments
