Commercial Manager

Location: Exeter

Project: £260M Passivhaus Student Accommodation Scheme

Your New Company: Join one of the UK's leading main contractors, renowned in the construction and property development sector. This company has a strong reputation for delivering large-scale projects nationwide and is now embarking on a flagship scheme in Exeter.

The Project: This is the largest Passivhaus scheme in the student accommodation sector, delivering 1,700 new build student units and refurbishing 300 existing units. The buildings will range from 3 to 8 storeys in height, with construction starting in July 2025.

Role Overview: As the Commercial Lead / Commercial Manager, you will oversee the project's commercial aspects, managing budgets, contracts, and financial performance to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong experience with Tier 1 main contractors, especially in large new build projects.
• Degree qualified with a proven track record managing complex, high-value projects (£100M+).
• Experience in student accommodation or similar sectors is highly desirable.
