Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Commercial Manager for our principal main contractor partner, with responsibility for the commercial and contractual elements of multiple projects in London and the East of England. You will lead a small team and report to directors.

The role requires experience in tendering, contract negotiation, and managing supply chains, with a focus on maintaining margins and leading change control. A discretionary bonus and benefits are offered.

Commercial Manager for principal main contractor working on projects in London and the East of England. Overseeing small team and multiple projects

About the role of Commercial Manager

Your role as Commercial Manager will be working in a approx 50m TO business, responsible for the commercial and contractual elements of multiple projects and a commercial team. Reporting to the internal directors and board members you will be able to use your previous relevant experience to maintain and grow relationships with internal and external clients.

This is an opportunity for someone who has experienced managing multiple projects at various stages and the supply chains.

• Review and maintain commercial margins to deliver profit
• Identify improvements in the commercial processes
• Oversee and advise on variations and change control
• Complex contracts negotiations
• Team recruitment and development

Requirements for Commercial Manager:

The ideal candidate will have experience with the following;

• Overseeing multiple projects from tender, contract negotiation and management of supply chains
• Ability to work closely with the internal teams, legal and ops
• managing PNL for the division
• Managing risk
