Commercial Manager – South East England: £85k + £5k Car Allowance

Trevett Services are delighted to be partnering with an established main contractor to make the key appointment of Commercial Manager in the Southeast of England.

The Commercial Manager will lead the commercial function for a defined Management function within the client's MoD contract. The role will cover the South East of England.

The Commercial Manager will also be responsible for commercial strategy, financial governance, contract compliance, risk management, and value optimisation across the portfolio. This position is critical in ensuring sustainable profitability, client satisfaction, and operational excellence through strong commercial leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Developing and managing the budget, ensuring profitability, and monitoring key financial metrics (e.g., revenue, costs, margins).
  • Strategic Planning: Contributing to the overall business strategy of the unit, aligning it with the broader company goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Overseeing client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and exploring opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Supply Chain Management: Ensuring the efficient flow of goods and services within the unit.
  • Team Leadership: Managing a team of staff, setting performance targets, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring that all commercial activities are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
