Job Description
Key responsibilities for a Commercial Manager include:
- Contribute to the successful delivery of commercial initiatives within the Not-for-Profit sector
- Take ownership of the bidding process for new commercial opportunities
- Oversee the mobilisation and implementation of contracts and services
- Manage the ongoing execution of commercial contracts and services, including performance reporting and continuous optimisation to maximise value for the organisation
- Ensure robust agreements are established and maintained with partners to support both current and future commercial collaborations
The Successful Applicant
A successful Commercial Manager should have:
- Contract Management: Strong experience overseeing large, distributed services within formal contractual frameworks.
- Bid and tender development - Proven ability to lead successful bids for large-scale commercial contracts.
- Stakeholder engagement - Skilled in managing relationships with multiple partners and senior stakeholders.
- Project mobilisation and delivery - Ability to launch and oversee service delivery for new contracts.
- Commercial and financial acumen - Understanding of risk, reporting, and optimisation to drive value.
- Analytical and decision-making skills - Comfortable using data to inform actions and improve outcomes.
