Commercial Manager Fit-Out Contractor
Location: West Lothian
Salary: Up to £65,000 (DOE) + Car Allowance / Company Vehicle
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full commercial management of multiple fit-out and interiors projects
- Prepare, manage and report on project budgets, cash flow and cost plans
- Manage subcontractor procurement, contract negotiation and package performance
- Review and approve applications, valuations, variations and final accounts
- Mentor and support junior QS/commercial staff within the business
- Work closely with project delivery teams to ensure commercially efficient outcomes
- Provide commercial input into tenders and pre-construction planning
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company procedures and relevant legislation
- Attend site visits and client meetings as required
- Report directly to the Directors on commercial performance and strategic issues

What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in fit-out, interiors, drywall, or partitioning
- Ability to manage multiple projects, subcontractor packages and commercial reporting
- Proven track record in cost control, valuations, final accounts and contract negotiation
- Experience leading or mentoring commercial / QS staff
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients, site teams and Directors
- Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (degree, HND or similar)
- Full UK driving licence
