Overview

Commercial Manager Fit-Out Contractor
Location: West Lothian
Salary: Up to £65,000 (DOE) + Car Allowance / Company Vehicle
Hours: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full commercial management of multiple fit-out and interiors projects
  • Prepare, manage and report on project budgets, cash flow and cost plans
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, contract negotiation and package performance
  • Review and approve applications, valuations, variations and final accounts
  • Mentor and support junior QS/commercial staff within the business
  • Work closely with project delivery teams to ensure commercially efficient outcomes
  • Provide commercial input into tenders and pre-construction planning
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company procedures and relevant legislation
  • Attend site visits and client meetings as required
  • Report directly to the Directors on commercial performance and strategic issues

What We're Looking For
  • Strong experience in fit-out, interiors, drywall, or partitioning
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, subcontractor packages and commercial reporting
  • Proven track record in cost control, valuations, final accounts and contract negotiation
  • Experience leading or mentoring commercial / QS staff
  • Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients, site teams and Directors
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (degree, HND or similar)
  • Full UK driving licence
