The Role & Opportunity

An award-winning artisan food business in the East Midlands is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded individual to help drive the next phase of its growth. With a well-established reputation for exceptional handmade artisan products, the business sells through a network covering retail, foodservice, and wholesale partners.

Products are handmade using traditional methods, the finest local ingredients, and no preservatives. With a strong ethical foundation—including B Corp accreditation—the company has carved out a distinctive position in the market by offering a genuine alternative to industrial products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new wholesale customers
  • Support the expansion of the retail shop network
  • Explore new sales channels, including events, market stalls, or grocery retail
  • Develop and grow existing wholesale and retail sales
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to help shape and implement the company’s commercial strategy

About You:

We’re not looking for a standard background, but a dynamic, entrepreneurial person who is passionate about high-quality, artisan food. You’ll need to be comfortable with autonomy and excited by the opportunity to build something meaningful.
