Job description

Are you a Commercial Manager or Quantity Surveyor looking for a long-term client-side role within a regulated infrastructure environment?

Do you enjoy post-contract delivery, stakeholder engagement, and working as part of an embedded client team?

Salary: £45,000–£65,000 DOE
Location: Near Bishop’s Stortford – 3 days per week office/site-based

I'm supporting a long-standing consultancy partner that delivers commercial services into major UK infrastructure programmes. With a well-established presence on-site and an expanding scope of work, they’re looking to grow their commercial team across multiple levels—from strong Assistant QSs through to experienced Senior Commercial Managers.

You’ll be working on a variety of fast-paced, operational infrastructure works that require consistent commercial oversight, client reporting, and contract management. This is a long-term opportunity offering secure, ongoing work with plenty of career development potential.

Key requirements:

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in commercial roles on large infrastructure projects (e.g. rail, aviation, utilities, regulated environments)

  • Strong post-contract administration and reporting skills

  • NEC contract experience preferred

  • Comfortable working in a client-facing or embedded delivery role

  • Prior experience with frameworks or operational maintenance works advantageous
