Overview

Commercial Manager – Trade Association

A major trade association specialising in Heavy Plant & Construction Equipment are looking for a Commercial Manager to lead business development and customer relations.

Role: Commercial Manager

Area: Home Based/within the UK

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, services, and initiatives that monetise the Association’s assets
  • Work with senior leadership to design and launch revenue-generating programmes that support members and the wider industry
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing members, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction to develop potential new revenue streams
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase member retention and value
  • Build strong relationships with industry stakeholders and commercial partners
Qualifications
  • Experience within a trade association, membership body, or related organisation is essential
  • A proven track record in a commercial, sales, or business development role
  • Experience in developing new commercial propositions
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and deliver new revenue opportunities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders
  • Able to travel to trade shows and membership events when required
